PCB gets a reputation as the spring break capital of Florida, but locals know the best window is late April through early June — warm water, thin crowds, and the emerald color the coast is named for.
Where to eat
Firefly for dinner. Thomas Donut for breakfast (the apple fritters are a sleeper). Patches for a quiet lunch off the strip.
Where to surf
PCB isn’t known for waves, but during summer storms you’ll find shoulder-high swell on the west end. Rent a foamie if you don’t have one.
