Sunsations started in 1983 on the Ocean City boardwalk — one shop, one coast, one idea: the beach day is a better day when the gear actually works.
Four decades later we’re still family-owned, still rooted in the boardwalk, and still running 35+ stores across the East Coast — Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. Same idea.
What we stock
Swimwear from the brands that built the category — Billabong, Roxy, Quiksilver, Rip Curl — alongside our own label for the pieces they don’t make. Beach gear, sunglasses, souvenirs. Everything you need to get in the water and nothing you don’t.
Why we still do it
Because the boardwalk is still fun. Because the first day of summer still hits. Because someone’s kid still needs a rash guard ten minutes before the tide turns, and we’d rather be there than not.
